St Briavels Castle

The team have returned this morning from a very cold overnight stay at St Briavels Castle, all bleary eyed after a night of interesting happenings and very little sleep. We now have over 12 hours of video footage, 300+ photographs, and lots of audio capture to analyse. As soon as we have done this check back for a report, photo’s and video footage.

Once again we send out our thanks to Phantomfest for organising such fantastic events at such a wonderful location. We looking forward to meeting you all again next year.

Busy Times Ahead

WPRO are delighted with our November plans which may well see us complete three investigations in the month.

It all starts next Saturday 1st November when we make our now annual pilgrimage to to St Briavels Castle in the Forest of Dean to join the Phantomfest Team on their annual Halloween investigation. Pheonix Paranormal will be joining us this year to make it an extra special overnight stay. Last year we slept in a prison cell, I wonder what this year holds.

The following Friday 7th Nov we have the most important investigation evening since our formation back in 2006. We are priveleged to be able to hold an overnight vigil at a very special location again with our good friends at Pheonix paranormal. This location is very close to our hearts as it was our very first investigation location and has become a field study for us over the past two years, where we have been so lucky to investigate this amazing place on many occasions. We have never revealed the location or the extent of our investigations but with the agreement of the owners we will be able to reveal all after next week so watch this space.

With another investigation likely in late November and a further investigation planned for early December it certainly looks as though there are busy times ahead!!

Hi There

If you’re a regular visitor, you will notice a very big change to our site. We decided a revamp was in order with a view to making the site a little more interactive for the user. After much deliberation we have opted for a blog based approach. We hope this will improve our visitors’ experience and allow them to comment more easily on what they find on the site.

We are currently in the construction phase but rather than hide this we thought we would let you watch the new site grow and evolve from it’s first concept. We’ll make a few mistakes along the way and there will be lots of changes but you will be able to see it as it happens.
